CDAC Challenge #7 ...

If you are here for my Blogoversary Giveaway Post
please click on the badge to the right.

Now back to business.  I have a new project for the current CDAC Progressive Challenge #7 ~ What's Cooking.  I've had Bailey with Honey Bee provided by Sew Many Cards colored since the start of our current challenge.  After coloring this cutie, the image sat on my craft table waiting for some inspiration on what to create.

My mojo comes and goes, which is frustrating when I need to be productive now.  I recently picked up some Mini Composition Books [3-1/4" x 4-1/2"] to alter for an upcoming craft fair, and decided to use Bailey on the cover of the Book.

I love how this turned out!  The perfect stocking stuffer for a young child/teenager.

Stay tuned for Challenge #8 coming your way on December 1st.  If you haven't joined in the fun yet, head on over to CDAC.  There is still time to get the first set of digital stamps for FREE and link your project to qualify to get the next set of images for FREE.

Until next time ... Ruza

Since my first post I have:
and I've made some awesome talented friends here in the paper crafters community.

I want to thank each and every one of you for inspiring me to continue being a part of this great family of crafters.  I truly enjoy all of the many different challenges available in the community, and continue to participate in them as time permits.

I've submitted many projects for publication and continue to try, and pray that one day my work will be accepted by one of the publishers. There are sooo many talented designers out there so I'm sure my day will come. ;o)
I will have some "Blogaversary Candy" that I will post on Black Friday.  Stay tuned for the picture.  I need to go thru my goodies to see what NEW Items I can part with since my budget won't allow me to buy anything new to give away. ;o)
Here's to hoping each and everyone of you have a marvelous Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Season's Greetings ...

Good evening friends.  After 2-weeks of making items to sell at a local Craft Fair today I finally have some time to post the card I created for CDAC Progressive Challenge #6.  The theme for this challenge is called "Winter Wonders".  My card features Candles from Daisy Doodles.

I went the traditional route when I chose my colors, and I even finished the inside of my card.

I colored another one of the FREE Digital Stamps during the downtime at the Craft Fair today, and I'm hoping to finish my card tomorrow and submit another post.
I'm very excited to say that there is a NEW CDAC Challenge that goes live on November 15th!  I look forward to sharing my project with all of you.  This is also the start of the next group of Progressive Challenges so if you haven't played along yet COME JOIN US!  There are a tremendous amount of FREE Digital stamps for you to create with!

Holiday Treat Box ...

When I saw this week's challenge over at Wee Memories [75 - Handmade Gifts] and Crazy 4 Challenge [C4C112 - Wrap it Up] I had to submit these Treat Boxes I created for the holidays.

I got the pattern for these boxes from either SCS or ScorPal.  I'm not sure which one. ;o)
The stamps used for these are Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes, and Crafts Meow Owl Be Seeing You in Class.  I figured one is perfect for Katie's classmates, and the other is perfect for her teacher and teacher aids.

Here are a couple pictures of them open.

I put Starlight Mints inside the boxes, but I will have to change up the mints to chocolate for Katie's classmates.

Hope you like my treats!  Thanks for stopping by!

Sassy Cookbook ...

Good evening friends.  I've been MIA recently as I am making stuff to sell at this weekends Craft Fair being held Sunday at St. Joseph's Church in Round Lake, IL.
When I saw last Friday's Sassy Studio Designs Freebie called "Domestic Diva" last week I knew she would be perfect to put on the cover of the Cookbook I was putting together.  I am entering this project into the current Sassy Studio PCP Fabulous Freebie Challenge.  The Challenge was to create a scene, and I think I accomplished that with this lovely.
After coloring in Domestic Diva, I fussy cut her out, attached her to the cover and used 3D tape under the book, the pot cover and the pot.  I added the flower to the patterned paper to add a little extra to the wallpaper.  Love how this turned out.

Here's a picture of the inside.  I picked up these recipe cards at the Dollar Store.
As you can see I picked up a new toy, as my hubby calls it.  I bought myself the Wee R Memory Keepers "the Cinch".  I'm having a lot of fun with this.  I've also made a couple of 2012 Calendars which I will be sharing.

I have several posts this evening so I'll see you again soon.

Thanks for stopping by!
