It's all about Wine ...

Good afternoon. In August I went to the Scrapbook Expo held in Schaumburg, IL and picked up some Mixed Media 4" x 4" Art Boards. So for today's project I made 4-coasters for my wine loving BFF using  Rubbernecker Stamps.

To start I stamped all of the images and sentiments with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink. I then used Tim Holtz Festive Berries Distress Ink for the first coaster (shown below), and then Marvy LePlumme Markers, water and a paintbrush to color the rest of the images. The stamps that I used were listed directly under the close-up of each coaster below.

Watercolor Wine Bottle (974) and Drink A Day Sentiment (640-09)

Wine Glass (639-05) and Makes You Lean Sentiment (1052-03)

Wine Bottle (639-03) and Better with Age Sentiment (640-02)

Ellyn (893-07) and Fixes Everything Sentiment (1053-05)

I let all of the coaster dry for 5-days, and then added a sealer over them. There was a bit of smearing on some of the coasters. I was frustrated by that, but still love how they turned out.

I will be adding another coat of the sealer plus felt to the back of each coaster, and making a gift box for them. Make sure you come back on November 1st to see the packaging I create. 😊

The Rubbernecker Stamps Copper & Gold Challenge (#21) is live. Hop on over for all of the details, and then join in the FUN for a chance to WIN an amazing prize!

Until next time ... Enjoy!
